I’m a special constable—a volunteer police officer who does the same job as an ordinary officer. It gives me an interesting and unique outlook on life. As a child I loved the idea of action and saving lives, from lifeguarding to St John Ambulance. So when I had the opportunity to be both a medical student and a police officer I jumped at the chance.
