OSCE (objective structured clinical examination) time can be a stressful time for many medical students who might feel underprepared and inexperienced. A couple of mobile apps can help students practice and hone their clinical examination and practical skills.
OSCE Trainer contains 47 mock OSCE test sheets that you can work through with a partner: one student is the doctor and the other is the examiner. Each examination has a checklist to ensure that the correct procedure is followed. Students can work through three categories of examinations: practical skills, clinical skills, and history taking. Although this is a free application, the clinical skills and history taking sections are only available as in-app purchases.
