MyMedicalTutor helps with more advanced OSCE stations where you have to present the case after conducting a physical examination. This app will appeal to those who are looking to improve their presentation skills. It contains 40 illustrated cases that are often encountered in practical examinations at each level from medical finals through to the membership examinations—that is, the MRCP. Selecting a case from within the app presents the student with a history and any relevant clinical findings. Students are then expected to present the case while recording themselves using the app’s inbuilt recording and playback functions.
You can record a case presentation before listening to the suggested answer and comparing your own. The cases included in the app are detailed, but certain specialties are missing—for example, there are few or no cases related to the urinary, reproductive, or musculoskeletal systems, and the overall range is relatively limited.
