Medical students challenging global health

Are you passionate about global health? Do you want to be involved with like minded students worldwide through public health projects, volunteering in areas of need, and taking part in student exchanges? The International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFSMA) tries to do this by arranging activities for medical students, by medical students.
The IFMSA is a non-governmental organisation representing associations of medical students. It is affiliated to the United Nations, and has been recognised by the World Health Organization as the official forum for medical students worldwide. Last August the organisation celebrated its 60th birthday.
The IFMSA represents more than 100 medical students’ associations from 95 countries. Medsin-UK is the UK member organisation that engages with the IFMSA, with 30 branches across the country each of which coordinates and arranges activities. In the United States, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is the member organisation. Likewise branches
