More than a headline
Abortion is more than a point of controversy and the subject of tired ethical case studies. Millions of women from around the world will have an abortion every year—you will be seeing them during the course of your future practice, yet clinical teaching tends to be scanty. No matter what your opinion and healthcare system you are part of, we have a duty of care to all of our patients, some of whom will have had or will be planning an abortion.
