Not just for hippies
Some will think of it as a political issue; a Sunday morning talk show issue; a scientific issue; an issue for hippies; but how many think of it as a health issue? The evidence is stacking up, with an increasing number of doctors agreeing that climate change is the biggest threat to global health of the 21st century. It is already killing patients. Something easy to measure is the direct effect of pollution on public health, and according to the World Health Organization, an estimated seven million people died as a result of air pollution in 2012 globally.
