As the autumn leaves start to curl, you will almost certainly be turning your thoughts to your medical school finals, but how much have you thought about your foundation programme application? The process allocates the highest scoring applicants first, giving them the best chance of attaining the foundation job of their choice. Those lower down the list are allocated to their ranked foundation schools in turn, according to whether places are left once the higher scoring candidates have been placed.
You have between 5 October and 16 October (12 noon British summer time) to fill in and submit your application. This article provides a guide on how to apply and what you need to think about before pressing the submit button.
