How would you fix evidence based medicine? Win a reduced rate ticket for Evidence Live 2015
Evidence Live aims to develop evidence based thinking in healthcare. This year’s conference will be held on 13 and 14 April at Oxford University Examination Schools. Evidence Live 2015 is about getting everyone’s opinions heard, particularly those of students. This is your opportunity to be a part of the debate, which is one of the most important in medical research. We are offering 50 places at the conference at a reduced rate for medical students and junior doctors.
The conference features Ben Goldacre, author of Bad Science and Bad Pharma, and Iain Chalmers, one of the founders of the Cochrane Collaboration. Talks given by international speakers will cover topics such as screening, child health, investigative journalism, medical devices, and variation in healthcare. There will be a student and junior doctor session, where experts will present and discuss the current challenges in evidence based medicine and ideas for how it should
