What kind of doctor do you want to be?

There are plenty of choices
If you are reading this you have probably already answered the question, “What do you want to do when you grow up?” The multimillion dollar question you need to answer now is, “What kind of doctor do you want to be?”
There is usually no formal career advice during undergraduate training so future choices might be based solely on undergraduate experiences. However, judging potential career options by experience alone is not a balanced approach as it is not very objective. If a certain specialty was not as well taught as others and experiences were mostly negative - such as hanging around wards waiting for someone to teach you - then that option will probably be low down your list of potential possibilities.
Ideally, all specialties should be taught well so that you get a non.prejudiced view of them all which would make your decision less
