Now heres some really good news for medical students in the United Kingdom. From December 2002 those of you who are BMA members will all receive a free book with about 2000 pages. A year later, you will get the next but one edition, and that will no doubt be even bigger and better. And after that The deal includes access to the internet version too. International students and non-BMA members can access Clinical Evidence at clinicalevidence.com. Unfortunately, you will need to pay a subscription to use the site, but students and nurses pay half the full rate.
I know that your days are already full with labs, clinical skills training, tutorials in problem based learning, and even the occasional lecture. You are probably muttering “What use is yet another book to read”?
