Are you interested in experiencing health care in a rural Kenyan village? Do you have a desire to make a difference?
If so, please consider volunteering with the Kenya Village Project. A unique partnership between IFMSA-USA and a grassroots Kenyan community based organization allows students a once in a lifetime opportunity. Besides working at the health clinic, you will have the chance to participate in any of the other programs: AIDS Education, Micro-enterprise for Women, Preschool and Public Library. In your free time, you will also have the chance to go on safari and see the magnificent wildlife, relax on the beautiful beaches of the Indian Ocean, climb Mt. Kenya or Kilimanjaro, or go rafting on the Nile river.
A great deal of satisfaction can be gained from making a positive contribution to the local community through the development programs. You will leave Kenya with a better understanding of the human condition.
Dates of participation are flexible. For more information, please visit: www.volunteerkenya.org and contact Hank Selke (firstname.lastname@example.org) about the application
