The film is a documentary featuring human life after disability. The film is based on an article by Dana Adam Shapiro, one of the directors, and shows the vivacity of a group of quadriplegic people who are wonderful athletes, even though they can't stand, either as a result of neurological disorders after an infection, or because of a car accident, gun shot injury, or a fistfight.
